The legendary band of lore Amatelast! I've heard so much about them over the many years I've been a Rocker!!

With this rare find from a now-disbanded group, I rush over to my friend Summer (Twitter/Instagram) to have this article translated at the speed of sound~!!

A brief summary about this band:

Amatelast is a band (in Show By Rock!!) comprise of Shu, Adam, Eve, and Rom. They took MIDICITY by storm with their hit single "Cadenza". However, due to creative differences between the vocalist and drummer as well as other mysterious circumstances, the band has long since been disbanded. There are rumors that the current vocalist of the popular idol band "Trichronika" is the former vocalist and guitarist of Amatelast, but one can only speculate.

Before we get to the interview part, I would like to inform you guys to please go follow the @sb69er_eng Twitter page for all of the latest updates on blog posts, news, and fun facts about all things "Show By Rock!!" related! As a long-time fan of this Sanrio IP, making "Show By Rock!!" content outside of the anime adaptations more accessible to the international audience is one of our mission statements, and the more people we reach, the more we can show the official company just how much support their music project is getting outside of Japan! And who knows? One day, this might give them the incentive to finally bring SB69 to a wider audience outside of Japan! (I am hoping and praying aaaa).

R: You have to be the one answering this question, Shu. S: ............... The last Amaterasu, born in a corner of Shibuvalley......... Our promised poem, the melody of beginning, a signpost leading to the top....... That is, Amatelast. E: We're selling CDs and goods, so please buy it, Mr. Reporter. A: Eve!!!! You ruined the atmosphere!!!

---- For everyone who hasn't heard anything from the debut yet, how did you form the band in the first place?

E: Let's see... Adam had his driving license suspended... A: EVE!!!!! I'll give you candies so shut up a little!!! E: Ehhh ～ I wanna talk too! R: Come on, try to get along. S: ................................................ R: You can speak. S: Tch..................................... we worked part-time together. R: You cut it too short. Me and Shu met while working part-time, and later Adam and Eve entered as well. Then, since everyone liked music and we even had a favorite genre in common, we naturally thought "Let's form a band!". • *1 : Actually, for Rom and Shu they don't use the first letter of their name, but for Rom, it is the first syllable (ロ/Ro) since his name is written as "Romu" in katakana, while Shu's name is written in Kanji and just remains like that throughout the interview since it only has one character. To make it easier, I decided to just keep the first letter of their names at the beginning of the sentences.

• Author's commentary: Comparing the translated line "...it may be suitable to call them an Ambivalence that crosses their existence" to the original text, I realized the words "Cross" and "Ambivalence" are both capitalized in the original article, which most likely references the 3rd Live Musical adaptation "SHOW BY ROCK!! Shenzhen CrossAmbivalence", which would make sense considering this LM installment goes more in-depth about Amatelast and what happened years after they disbanded (among other things).
